The AVERAGE pc buyer DOES NOT upgrade the system once! The AVERAGE pc buyer does not know the difference between a Mac and a PC. The AVERAGE PC buyer wants a stable system over everything without having to worry about viruses or crashes.

I have tons of GOOD reasons to stick to the PC/Windows platform, but that does NOT mean that teh Mac platyform is worse, it’s just not suited for me and it has little to do the issues that most people talk about in PC vs Mac discussions.

The discussion is always about what’s TECHNICALLY best and I get tired of that. People don’t buy purely best on what’s techncially best, they don’t do it with a car, house, lawn mower, you name it. I get tired of Mac users claming that people who use Windows are dumb, are dumbed down or never used a Mac. I also want to add that I’ve been doing this for a long, long time, like having my first “computer” already in ‘79, having my first Windows since version 2.03 and working with Macs, Linux, Windows, mainframes etc for over 22 years as professional system/network engineer. When you’ve done this work for so long, you start to separate the technical issues from what people REALLY want.

That’s hardly double the price and the drivers (Graphic Card) NEVER have any incompatibilities with any other component.
And you get a MAC for the OS. It’s not only to be different but to have something where all applications work seamlessly with each-other. Apple might be more expensive, so is BMW
